Deer Valley Men's Golf Club

"Deer Valley Men's Golf Club"

The Best in Sun City West

Welcome

The aim of the Deer Valley Men’s Golf Club is to provide a friendly, competitive environment that promotes the camaraderie found in the game of Golf.   DVMGC plays every Wednesday at Deer Valley Golf Course.  During the peak season we have a morning and afternoon shotgun start.  In the summer there is usually a morning shotgun and afternoon tee times.

Weekly Sweeps are $2.00 per man and paid out in handicapped flights for Low Gross and Low Net scores.   On the second Wednesday of most months we play a “Tournament”.  Tournaments may be various Scrambles, the Yellow Ball Game, the Colorama Turkey Shoot, or A New Member Fun Event.  On Tournament days the entry fee is $5.00.  All players must enter the Tournament to be eligible to play.  After most Tournaments the DVMGC will provide Drinks and Lunch.

There is an optional “Blind Bogey” every Wednesday that is $1.00 per man.  At the end of the day, Patti, our monitor, draws a number from between 68 and 83.  All players that have that number as their net score split the pot.

You can request morning or afternoon tee times and you can enter as a group or as a single and Patti will assign you with other members.

This is a great group of men that enjoy golf and good company.
