Weekly Events

The purpose of the Deer Valley Men’s Club is the promotion of Golf Events for the pleasure and recreation of its members. The following is the policy, as adopted by the Board of Directors, for conducting these events. This policy is consistent with the Recreation Centers of Sun City West Director of Golf Operations Memo of May 1, 2003 regarding Operating Procedures/Golf Facility Use.

An organized sweeps will be conducted each Wednesday. The minimum entry fee is $2.00.

A Special Events Sweeps will be conducted one Wednesday each month with a minimum entry fee of $5.00. The kind of event will be determined by the Tournament Committee.

ALL ENTRY FEES WILL BE PAID TO THE STARTER, ON THE DAY OF PLAY, AT THE SAME TIME GREEN FEES ARE PAID.

Each member who has an AGA Handicap and is playing in a Wednesday event, for which a sweeps fee is collected, must participate in the sweeps competition and pay the sweeps fee. THE ENTERING OF ALL SWEEPS, INCLUDING SPECIAL EVENTS SWEEPS, WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED WHEN A MEMBER HAS REQUESTED A TEE TIME WITH THE MONITOR.
