Better Ball / Best Ball is NOT A SCRAMBLE format.

  1. 2-Person Better Ball is a golf format for teams comprised of two golfers.
  2. Those two golfers play their own golf balls throughout until each has holed out.
  3. The lower score of the two players counts as the team score.
  4. All players must hole out, even if your partner is in with a lower score.
  5. This score will count as a Tournament Score.
  6. All Players will play from their regular tees, no moving up.
  7. All current USGA and Local Rules apply.
  8. Since this format is played from mixed tees, handicaps for Gold and Green Players will be adjusted to the rating from the White tees, according to USGA Handicap System Section 3-5. “Players Competing from Different Te
    1. White Tee Players- Course Rating 68.3 NO Adjustment.
    2. Gold Tee Players- Course handicap 66.6 minus 2 Handicap Strokes
    3. Green Tee Players- Course Handicap 61.0 minus 7 Handicap Strokes
  9. Teams will be flighted by the combined adjusted
